I work with dogs who display fear-based behaviors, anxiety, and reactivity. Many behaviors that look like aggression are rooted in fear or stress. During an initial phone call, we will discuss your dog’s behavior in detail and determine whether this support is appropriate or if a referral is needed.
I work with dogs of all ages, from puppies to seniors. Support is always tailored to the individual dog and their specific needs.
No. Behavior change is complex and depends on many factors, including the dog’s history, environment, health, and consistency of support. What I do provide is clear guidance, realistic expectations, and thoughtful support to help you and your dog make meaningful progress over time.
No. I use positive reinforcement and behavior science–based approaches that prioritize emotional safety, learning, and trust. This work focuses on teaching skills and supporting behavior change without intimidation or force.
Yes. Virtual sessions are available via Zoom and can be a great option for coaching, behavior consultations, and ongoing support. In-person services are available for clients in Oakland, Piedmont, Berkeley, Lamorinda, and the Grrenhaven-Pocket area of Sacramento.
Day training allows me to work directly with your dog during the day while you are at work or otherwise busy. It allows me to reinforce the skills that you are working on, and make important observations that can help us advance in our coaching session together.
A consultation is the first step to improving life with your dog. This 60 minute consultation allows me to gather all the information I need to identify the best training package for you. We will discuss your goals, time constraints, as well as your dog’s history and behavior.
I set aside one scholarship spot each month for families who need support with fees. If that's you, just mention it when you reach out.
Once I receive your request, I will reach out to schedule a 15 minute phone call. This call will allow me to gather some additional information, allow you to ask questions, and allow us to decide on the best way to move forward.
The best first step is to request an initial consultation. From there, we can determine what type of support makes the most sense for you and your dog.
Whether working together in person or virtually, the goal is the same: to help dogs and humans gain confidence, resiliency, skills, knowledge, and build a solid relationship of trust, for puppies, adult and senior dogs, and for growing families.
